I've decided to continue attempting to put pencil to paper and see what I can come up with in the way of drawing. So I'm working with a friend here who will be giving me some tips and such as I practice. I'll be adding things to my Scraps section and would like to receive comments if people take a look at my attempts. All comments will be considered and appreciated and will give me food for thought and ideas for experimenting with! I am drawing not with any thought of being or becoming professional at it. But at my age and situation, it gives me something fun and challenging to do!

The latest addition to my Scraps is an attempt at a rather toothy dragon head! I've never put much personal thought into what a dragon really looks like or can be, before--just always enjoyed reading and seeing others' pictures about them. But I'm starting to learn and to figure out what my "personal" ideas of them might be!

This sketch is still not completed. It's a second attempt that stemmed from a pretty awful first sketch, heh. But that one gave me some ideas for how to make changes and with this second attempt, I think I at least moved the eyes from too high and forwards in the head, to a much more likely placement, LOL! I'm thinking I may have the area between the eyes and the nostrils a bit too short? And I know I need to work on the horns and the ridge between them! They still look much "flatter" than the rest of the drawing, if nothing else! And probably need to lighten up the shading of them also.... Anyways, I hope to hear tips and suggestions and see what I can do with it as I practice.
